Maria Juranic's filmmaking bleeds of creative visuals. It's an elegant mix of stop motion, manipulation of paper, high speed slow motion and avant-garde editing that define her films and music videos. She combines a seasoned experience in animation with live action to create a special magical realism. Maria's visual talents have been sought out by various established artists like POS, Eyedea & Abilities, Blueprint and Grieves.
Among recent accomplishments, her short film "King Tales" was an official selection at the 2009 Walker Art Center "Women with Vision" Festival. Her music videos have been in regular rotation on MTV, MTV2, MTVU, and Fuse and seen all over the world. In 2010 The Walker Art Center invited Maria to teach a two month music video workshop in Minneapolis and she continues to support the work of her students.
